Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. What we collect
Vetera is currently a no-account, no-cookie research tool. We do not require you to register, sign in, or provide personal information to use the search.
If you contact us by email (corrections, questions), we collect only what you send us.
2. What we don't collect
- We do not store the names or search terms you type into Vetera.
- We do not sell or share any user data.
- We do not use advertising trackers, and we never build a profile of you.
3. Usage analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement tool that uses no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It records only anonymous, aggregate usage — for example, that a search was run and whether it returned a result — so we can see how many people use Vetera and improve it. It does not capture the names you search or any information that identifies you.
4. Third-party services
When you click external links (FL Board, OIG LEIE, NPI Registry, SAM.gov), you leave Vetera and become subject to those sites' privacy policies.
5. Cookies
The site uses no tracking cookies. Browser-internal session storage may temporarily hold form input but is cleared on tab close.
6. Information about healthcare providers
The information we display about healthcare providers is sourced exclusively from public records published by U.S. federal and state government agencies for the explicit purpose of public access. Healthcare licensees have a reduced privacy expectation regarding their professional licensing and regulatory record.
If you are a provider and wish to dispute or correct an entry, see our corrections process.
7. Children
Vetera is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted with a new "last updated" date.
